House/Greeters
CHAIR RESPONSIBILITIES: Schedule five committee members to serve at each meeting in the following functions: The DOOR GREETER welcomes Rotarians and guests as they enter the Club meeting area. Also, when called upon during the meeting, the Door Greeter acknowledges visiting Rotarians and asks members with guests to introduce them to the Club. WELCOME DESK staffers (two per meeting) greet and log attendees and visitors; stamp parking tickets; and ask members to sign any cards, ballots, etc. Welcome Desk staffers may also assist Room Managers at the end of each meeting. ROOM MANAGERS (two per meeting) check audio-visual equipment; set up, and after the meeting, stow: the badge box; banners; podium, bell, and gavel; table numbers and song books, etc. Room Managers also ensure the storage chest and closet are neat and secure, and when needed by speakers who have projected presentations, they turn off/on dais lights.
