RiverFest2015 Volunteer Day

The Rotary Club of Norfolk along with the Rotary Club of Portsmouth and Rotary District 7600 were official sponsors of RIVERfest on September 12, 2015. This day-long celebration on the Norfolk downtown waterfront celebrated efforts by the Elizabeth River Project and its partners to clean area rivers and encouraged Hampton Roads citizens to join the effort. Rotary volunteers staffed the Oyster Oasis, which served steamed James River oysters to raise money for oyster restoration in area rivers.
